Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and physically fit individuals to join our team as Container Unloaders in Albany, WA. This is a vital manual labour role where you will be responsible for the efficient and safe unloading of various goods from shipping containers. This position is perfect for someone looking for a hands-on role with great pay, requiring reliability and a strong work ethic. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience in logistics or warehousing is necessary. Key Responsibilities
- Manually unload a variety of goods and freight from shipping containers.
- Sort and stack products neatly and safely onto pallets or designated areas.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety procedures and guidelines.
- Operate manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks (training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets.
- Report any damaged goods or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items repeatedly.
- Reliability and a strong commitment to attendance.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic English communication skills for understanding safety instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labour role (though not required).
- Current forklift license (LF/LO class) or willingness to obtain one.
