Job Description
Join Encore Global as a Corporate Event AV Setup Crew member and become a vital part of our team, delivering high-quality audio-visual experiences for corporate events across hotels and conference centers. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to learn about event technology. You will be responsible for the setup, operation, and dismantle of AV equipment, ensuring every event runs smoothly. Extensive travel within the Duluth area and surrounding regions is required, providing a diverse and engaging work environment. Full training will be provided to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport, set up, and dismantle a wide array of audio, video, lighting, and computer equipment for corporate events.
- Operate basic AV equipment during live events, ensuring flawless execution.
- Perform equipment checks, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
- Coordinate effectively with clients, venue staff, and other team members to meet event specifications and deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all company and venue safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist with equipment inventory management, organization, and routine maintenance.
- Travel to various event locations, including hotels and conference centers, as required by the event schedule.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interaction.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
- Willingness to travel locally and regionally to different event sites.
- No prior audio-visual experience is required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

- Previous experience in a customer service or event support role.
