Job Description
Are you passionate about food and love to share your enthusiasm with others? New World Ashburton is seeking a vibrant and friendly Supermarket Taste Tester / Sampler to join our team! In this exciting role, you’ll be the face of new and exciting products, offering samples to our valued customers and gathering their feedback. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a great personality, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in food to contribute to a beloved local supermarket. Full training on products and sampling procedures will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present food samples to customers in an appealing and hygienic manner.
- Engage customers in friendly conversations about the products, highlighting key features and benefits.
- Actively solicit customer feedback on sampled items, noting preferences and suggestions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive sampling station.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Manage sample inventory and report on product popularity.
- Assist with other promotional activities as needed.
