Job Description

UHI Inverness College is seeking a friendly and organized Entry-Level Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our Cosmetology Department. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth daily operation of our busy front desk, providing exceptional service to students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome students, prospective students, and visitors with a warm and professional demeanor.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate department.
- Manage appointment scheduling for student services, consultations, and practical sessions.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring a welcoming first impression.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and managing incoming/outgoing mail.
- Process payments and handle basic financial transactions accurately.
- Provide information about cosmetology courses, enrolment procedures, and campus facilities.
- Support staff and faculty with various administrative needs as required, contributing to overall department efficiency.

- Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
