Job Description
Are you an energetic individual who loves to stay active and enjoys being out and about? StarTrack is seeking enthusiastic Courier Runners to join our team in Wollongong for day shifts. This role is perfect for active people who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy physical work. As a Courier Runner, you will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery and collection of parcels and documents within a specific local area. You will represent StarTrack, ensuring professional and friendly interactions with our valued customers. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver and collect parcels and documents on foot or using specified modes of transport (e.g., bicycle, small electric vehicle, where applicable) within a designated route.
- Ensure accurate scanning and tracking of all items using handheld devices.
- Provide excellent customer service during all interactions, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage time effectively to complete routes within scheduled timeframes.
- Communicate any delivery issues or delays to the depot team promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical fitness and stamina for sustained walking/running throughout the day.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A positive, customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to use handheld scanning devices (training provided).

Preferred Qualifications
- A valid Australian driver's license (desirable, but not essential for all runner roles).
- Familiarity with the Wollongong area.
- Previous experience in a customer service or physically active role.
- Basic understanding of logistics operations.
