Job Description
Are you passionate about data and eager to kickstart your career in data science? CGI is offering an exciting remote internship opportunity for an aspiring Data Science Intern. This role is designed for individuals with foundational knowledge in Python and SQL who are looking for hands-on experience and expert mentorship. You will work on real-world projects, learn industry best practices, and contribute to data-driven insights that inform business decisions. This is a 100% remote position, providing flexibility and access to mentorship from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior data scientists with data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing tasks.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and insights using Python and SQL.
- Support the development and implementation of data models under expert guidance.
- Prepare clear and concise reports, visualizations, and presentations of findings.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and contribute to solutions.
- Continuously learn and apply new data science techniques and tools.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Python programming (e.g., data structures, basic libraries like Pandas).
- Familiarity with SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
