Job Description
Are you ready to kickstart your career in logistics and supply chain? Target is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Distribution Centre team in Albuquerque, NM, as Team Members. No prior experience is required – we believe in developing talent from the ground up! You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently, contributing directly to our mission of providing a seamless shopping experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming products with accuracy.
- Sort, stock, and organize merchandise within the distribution center.
- Pick and pack orders according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Prepare items for shipment, including labeling and loading onto trucks.
- Operate various warehouse equipment (after proper training and certification) such as pallet jacks or forklifts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support distribution center operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand basic instructions.
- Capacity to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Commitment to working safely and following all safety guidelines.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a team-oriented environment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
