Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed cleanup and restoration protocols for crime scenes, trauma scenes, and other biohazardous environments.
- Strictly adhere to all OSHA, CDC, and EPA guidelines for handling, containment, and disposal of biohazardous materials.
- Operate and maintain specialized cleaning and safety equipment.
- Document all cleanup procedures, materials used, and disposal methods accurately.
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality, professionalism, and empathy with clients and affected parties.
- Participate actively in all required training and continuous professional development.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and effective project completion.
- Respond to emergency calls, which may include irregular hours.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and protocols precisely.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, kneel, and perform tasks in various environments for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Emotional resilience and a compassionate demeanor.
- No prior experience required – full training provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in physically demanding roles such as construction, landscaping, or general labor.
- Basic knowledge of safety procedures or willingness to obtain relevant certifications (e.g., First Aid, CPR, HAZWOPER).
- High school diploma or GED.
