Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Donation Sorter at our clean and organised warehouse in Murray Bridge. This is an easy work role, perfect for individuals who are meticulous, enjoy a structured environment, and want to contribute to a meaningful cause. You will play a vital role in processing donated goods, helping us provide quality items to those in need and supporting our retail operations. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unpack donated goods with care.
- Sort donations into categories such as clothing, homewares, books, and electronics.
- Inspect items for quality, cleanliness, and functionality, adhering to safety and quality guidelines.
- Price selected items accurately according to established guidelines.
- Organise sorted goods for storage or transfer to retail stores.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move items up to 10kg.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify quality items.
- Reliable and punctual work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or sorting environment (volunteering experience welcome).
- Understanding of current fashion trends or item value.
- First Aid certificate.
