Job Description
Are you a reliable, energetic individual looking for a hands-on role with immediate starts and weekly pay? The Brick in Windsor, ON is seeking dedicated Drivers Mates / Porters to join our logistics team. In this vital role, you will assist our delivery drivers with the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of furniture, appliances, and electronics to our valued customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, early starts, and being part of a team that makes a direct impact on customer satisfaction. No prior experience is necessary; we provide full training to ensure you are equipped for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading merchandise from delivery vehicles.
- Safely transport products into customer homes, ensuring care and professionalism.
- Verify product condition and delivery accuracy with customers.
- Navigate routes with drivers, following maps and schedules.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing inquiries courteously.
- Perform general warehouse duties as required, including organizing and cleaning.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the vehicle and warehouse.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items repeatedly (up to 75 lbs with assistance).
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment.
- Customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehousing, moving, or delivery assistance role (not required, but an asset).
- Familiarity with local Windsor-Essex area roads and routes.
- A valid G Class driver's license (even if not driving, for potential future opportunities).
