Job Description
Are you a highly motivated student with a passion for e-commerce and digital growth? Kogan.com is offering an exciting E-commerce Student Placement opportunity in Bendigo for individuals eager to dive into the world of online retail, specifically focusing on Shopify platform management and growth strategies. This placement is designed to provide hands-on experience in a real-world e-commerce environment, working alongside experienced professionals. You will gain invaluable insights into various aspects of online business, from product listing and content creation to digital marketing and data analysis, all within the context of a leading Australian retailer.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the day-to-day management of our Shopify e-commerce platform, including product uploads, updates, and inventory synchronization.
- Support the creation and optimization of product descriptions, imagery, and other website content to enhance user experience and SEO.
- Learn and contribute to various digital marketing initiatives, such as email campaigns, social media content, and basic analytics reporting.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new trends and opportunities for online growth.
- Provide administrative support to the e-commerce team, helping with data entry, reporting, and project coordination.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive online presence.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for new e-commerce features, promotions, and strategies.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a relevant tertiary degree (e.g., Business, Marketing, IT, Communications).
- Strong interest in e-commerce, digital marketing, and online retail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
