Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and prioritize incoming emergency calls from the public, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
  • Accurately gather critical information from callers to determine the nature and location of emergencies.
  • Provide clear, concise, and life-saving pre-arrival instructions to callers, including first aid or CPR guidance.
  • Dispatch appropriate emergency services (Police, Fire, Ambulance) according to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of all calls and actions taken within the dispatch system.
  • Monitor ongoing incidents and provide updates to responding units as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with emergency service personnel, colleagues, and supervisors.
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines related to emergency call handling.
