Job Description
We are seeking motivated and reliable Export Meat Packers to join our dedicated team in Karratha. This full-time, ongoing position offers high hourly rates and a stable work environment for individuals passionate about contributing to Australia’s food export industry. You will be instrumental in preparing our premium meat products, ensuring they meet rigorous export specifications and maintaining our reputation for quality. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to start or advance their career in meat processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various tasks related to meat processing, including trimming, boning, and packing products to export specifications.
- Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all operational guidelines.
- Strictly adhere to hygiene, sanitation, and food safety (HACCP) protocols at all times.
- Ensure all products meet quality control standards before packaging and shipment.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team to achieve production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to supervision.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of, or willingness to learn, food safety and hygiene practices.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a meat processing, food manufacturing, or similar industrial environment.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles or food handling certifications.
- Basic knife skills are an advantage, though comprehensive training will be provided.
