Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team as Harvest Assistants for the upcoming agricultural season. This temporary role is perfect for those looking to gain valuable experience in Australian agriculture and fulfill their 88-day regional work requirements for a second or third-year Working Holiday Visa (subclass 417 or 462). No prior experience is required as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and capable in all aspects of the role. You will be working in various outdoor settings, contributing to the vital process of harvesting diverse crops. This is a physically demanding yet rewarding opportunity to immerse yourself in regional Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating and assisting with farm machinery during harvest (under supervision)
- Performing manual labor tasks such as picking, packing, and sorting crops
- Monitoring crop quality and reporting any issues to supervisors
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies
- Assisting with general farm duties as required
- Working effectively as part of a team
