Job Description
Are you eager to dive into the exciting world of event production? Central Valley Arts & Events is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Festival Production & Logistics Intern to join our team. This entry-level internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the planning, execution, and breakdown phases of large-scale festivals and events. You will work closely with our experienced production and logistics teams, learning the intricate details of event management from the ground up. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination of event setup and breakdown, including stage, vendor, and attendee areas.
- Support the logistics team in managing equipment inventory, transportation, and delivery schedules.
- Help with on-site production tasks, ensuring smooth operations during events.
- Liaise with vendors, artists, and volunteers under supervision.
- Assist in maintaining organized documentation for production schedules, permits, and supplier contacts.
- Contribute to post-event evaluations and reporting.
- Perform administrative duties as needed to support the production department.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Reliable transportation to various event sites in Fresno.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/certificate in Event Management, Arts Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous volunteer experience at festivals or events is a plus.
