Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Food Truck Deep Fryer Drainer for nightly maintenance. This part-time position is crucial for maintaining the operational excellence and cleanliness of our food trucks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the thorough draining, cleaning, and sanitization of deep fryers, ensuring they meet our strict hygiene standards before the next day’s service. This role is ideal for someone meticulous, responsible, and looking for consistent night work in a supportive environment. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals new to the food service industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drain and properly dispose of used deep fryer oil in accordance with company protocols and environmental regulations.
  • Thoroughly clean all components of the deep fryers, including baskets, heating elements, and internal surfaces, to remove all food debris and grease.
  • Clean and replace fryer filters as needed to ensure optimal performance and food quality.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the deep fryer area within the food truck.
  • Adhere strictly to all established food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines.
  • Report any observed equipment malfunctions, damage, or maintenance needs to management promptly.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures accurately.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy containers (e.g., oil vats) weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • No prior experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
