Job Description
Are you passionate about the outdoors and looking for an active role where you can interact with people and earn excellent cash tips? Deer Park Golf & Country Club is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Golf Course Caddies to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy being active, have a keen eye for detail, and are committed to providing outstanding service to our golfers. No prior caddying experience is required; we provide comprehensive training to ensure you are confident and skilled on the course.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry golf bags for players throughout the entire 18-hole course.
- Provide accurate yardage and general course information to golfers.
- Assist players with club selection and offer strategic advice when appropriate.
- Ensure strict adherence to golf course etiquette and help maintain an efficient pace of play.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, enhancing the overall golfing experience for every player.
- Clean golf clubs and balls as needed during rounds.
- Assist with minor course upkeep and tidiness during shifts.
Required Skills
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to walk long distances over varied terrain.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with golfers and colleagues.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- A genuine customer service orientation and a desire to help others.
- No prior caddying experience required; full training will be provided to all successful candidates.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of golf rules, etiquette, and the game itself.
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or hospitality role.
- A passion for golf and the golfing environment.
- Familiarity with the Deer Park Golf & Country Club course layout.
