Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Grant Writing Intern to join our team in Mount Gambier. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring professional with an interest in the Not-for-Profit (NFP) sector to gain hands-on experience in grant research, proposal development, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with our experienced team, learning the intricacies of securing funding for crucial community programs and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in researching potential grant opportunities from various funding bodies, government agencies, and foundations.
  • Support the drafting and editing of grant proposals, applications, and reports, ensuring adherence to guidelines.
  • Help maintain a comprehensive database of grant opportunities, submission deadlines, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with program managers to gather information and data necessary for compelling grant narratives.
  • Contribute to the development of engaging case studies and impact stories.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to grant management and donor communication.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions to further develop grant writing and NFP sector knowledge.
