Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Hospital Food Service Assistant to join our team at Gosford Hospital. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and portion food items according to dietary requirements and established menus
- Serve meals and beverages to patients in wards, ensuring accuracy and patient satisfaction
- Collect and clean used dishes, cutlery, and trays
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and dining areas
- Assist with stock rotation, inventory, and receiving deliveries
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and hospital policies
- Provide friendly and compassionate service to patients and their families
- Collaborate effectively with nursing and other support staff
