Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Implementation Lead – Software Solutions to join our dynamic team in Bendigo. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the successful deployment and integration of various software solutions for our enterprise clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong client-facing abilities to translate complex requirements into effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation lifecycle of software solutions for enterprise clients.
- Develop detailed project plans, scope documents, and resource allocation strategies.
- Act as the primary technical and project contact for clients throughout the implementation phase.
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot software solutions to meet client-specific requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to implementation teams and clients.
- Conduct client training sessions and develop user documentation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Collaborate with sales, product development, and support teams to ensure seamless client transitions.
- Continuously improve implementation processes and methodologies.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software implementation or IT project management.
- Proven ability to lead and deliver complex software projects.
- Strong understanding of various software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent client-facing and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
- Solid technical background with the ability to understand and articulate complex IT concepts.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with telecommunications software solutions or large-scale enterprise systems.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2 certification.
- Experience with cloud-based software deployments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Master's degree in a relevant technical or business field.
