Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Warehouse Hands to join our dynamic team in Bendigo. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible hours within a supportive work environment. As a Casual Warehouse Hand, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse, ensuring products are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and safely. We value team members who are keen to learn and contribute, and full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for those new to the warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming goods efficiently and safely.
- Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stocktakes.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if licensed, otherwise training will be provided) in a safe manner.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- A commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (beneficial but not essential, full training provided).
- Current forklift license (preferred but not required).
- First Aid Certificate.
