Job Description
As an Implementation Specialist at TechnologyOne, you will be a key player in ensuring the successful deployment and adoption of our cutting-edge software solutions for our diverse client base. You will bridge the gap between technical functionality and business needs, guiding clients through the entire implementation lifecycle from initial planning to go-live and post-implementation support. This hybrid role based in Newcastle offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with clients and internal teams, delivering tangible value and enabling digital transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the implementation of TechnologyOne software solutions for new and existing clients.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand client business processes, requirements, and objectives.
- Configure and customise software modules to align with client needs and industry best practices.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for client end-users and administrators.
- Provide expert guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle, addressing technical and functional queries.
- Collaborate with project managers, technical consultants, and sales teams to ensure project success.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including configuration guides, user manuals, and project plans.
- Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure system integrity and performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation within client environments.
Required Skills
- Proven technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new software systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) or similar complex business software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Demonstrated client-facing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with TechnologyOne software products.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Knowledge of SQL or basic database concepts.
