Job Description
Are you looking for an immediate start in a dynamic warehouse environment? Toll Group is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Sorters for our Caboolture facility. This is a fast-hire position with no previous experience required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training! Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently sort packages, parcels, and freight items according to designated routes and categories
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and safety procedures are followed
- Scan and track inventory using hand-held devices or computer systems
- Maintain a clean and organised work area within the warehouse
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily sorting targets
- Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to supervisors promptly
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 20kg repeatedly throughout a shift
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Good attention to detail
- Basic understanding of safety procedures or willingness to learn
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manual labour role (though not required)
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Forklift licence (advantageous, but not essential for this role)
