Job Description
We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our Port Adelaide team as Industrial Packers for casual day work. This role involves general packing duties within our warehouse and distribution center. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, have a strong work ethic, and be able to commit to Monday to Friday shifts. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the logistics and warehousing sector. This is a casual position offering consistent work for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack and label products according to company standards and client specifications.
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring proper documentation and protective packaging.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment as required (e.g., pallet jacks – training provided).
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation as directed.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 20kg repetitively.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures or willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehousing, manufacturing, or production environment.
- Current driver's license and reliable transport to Port Adelaide.
- Forklift license (LF) is a bonus but not essential.
