Job Description
Are you an energetic individual looking for an active role with immediate start and weekly pay? Coastal Event Solutions is seeking enthusiastic Marquee Rigger Helpers to join our dynamic team in Port Macquarie. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are physically fit, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed. You will play a crucial role in setting up and dismantling a variety of marquees and event structures, ensuring every event runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the safe and efficient setup and dismantling of marquees, tents, and other event structures.
- Load and unload equipment, materials, and tools from company vehicles.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and supporting colleagues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work sites.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support event operations.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Australian driver's license (manual preferred but not essential).
