Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Membership Support Assistant to join our professional team in Karratha. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for our valued members, providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring a seamless membership experience. You will play a key part in the daily operations of our organisation, contributing directly to our mission by supporting the engagement and retention of our membership base. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a passion for the not-for-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming member enquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate and timely information.
- Process new membership applications, renewals, and updates efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain and update member databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist with the coordination of member events, workshops, and communication campaigns.
- Prepare and distribute membership-related correspondence, reports, and promotional materials.
- Provide general administrative support to the team, including scheduling, record-keeping, and document management.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve member issues and enhance the overall member experience.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a membership support or customer service role.
