Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Microbiology Intern to join our diagnostic laboratory team in Goulburn. This placement offers an exceptional opportunity for an aspiring microbiology professional to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical setting. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior microbiologists in the processing of clinical specimens, including plating, staining, and inoculation.

  • Contribute to quality control procedures and maintain accurate laboratory records.
  • Prepare culture media, reagents, and perform routine laboratory maintenance.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biomedical Science, or a related scientific field.
