Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Porter to join our friendly team at Novotel London West. This is an exciting entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in hospitality, as full comprehensive training will be provided. No prior experience is necessary – we are looking for someone with a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to guest satisfaction. You will be instrumental in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests during the overnight hours, handling various duties from reception tasks to guest assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently during night shifts.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Perform regular security patrols of the hotel premises to ensure guest safety and property security.
- Assist with luggage and other guest needs.
- Respond to emergencies and alarms according to hotel procedures.
- Monitor CCTV systems and fire panels.
- Prepare meeting rooms or public areas for the following day.
- Ensure public areas are tidy and presentable.
- Complete night audit procedures and reports as required.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor at all times.
