Job Description
Join the Linfox team in Bundaberg as a Night Shift Marshall. This part-time role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and safe flow of operations during our busy night shifts. You will be responsible for guiding vehicle movements, coordinating freight, and maintaining a secure work environment within our distribution centre. This position requires a vigilant individual with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Directing the safe movement of trucks, trailers, and other vehicles within the yard and docking areas.
- Coordinating with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes.
- Monitoring site access and egress, ensuring only authorised personnel and vehicles enter the premises.
- Conducting regular safety checks of the yard and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
- Assisting with basic administrative tasks related to freight movement and record-keeping.
- Enforcing all company safety policies and procedures, including personal protective equipment (PPE) compliance.
- Responding to and documenting any incidents or emergencies as per company guidelines.
- Maintaining clear communication channels with all team members and external drivers.
