Job Description

NAB is offering an exciting opportunity for a Paid HR Intern to join our dynamic team in Katherine, focusing on Recruitment and Talent Sourcing. This is a hands-on, entry-level position designed for individuals with little to no prior HR experience, providing comprehensive training and mentorship. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the HR and Recruitment team with various administrative tasks.
- Support the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting to onboarding.
- Draft and post engaging job advertisements on internal and external platforms.
- Screen resumes and applications, identifying qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews, manage candidate communications, and coordinate logistics.
- Maintain and update candidate records within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Conduct preliminary phone screenings to assess candidate suitability.
- Assist with onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Conduct market research to identify talent pools and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- A keen interest in Human Resources, particularly recruitment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn quickly.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
