Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Paid Wellness Intern to join our Human Resources team with a dedicated focus on corporate health initiatives. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about health and wellness to gain hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating employee well-being programs within a corporate setting. The successful candidate will support various wellness projects, learn about program management, and contribute directly to a positive workplace culture. Full training and mentorship will be provided, making this an ideal role for someone with no prior professional experience but a strong desire to learn and contribute.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate wellness events and programs (e.g., health challenges, workshops, fitness classes).
- Conduct research on best practices in corporate wellness and employee engagement strategies.
- Help develop communication materials, newsletters, and internal campaigns to promote wellness initiatives.
- Provide administrative support for wellness program documentation, participant registration, and data entry.
- Gather and analyze feedback from employees on wellness program effectiveness.
- Support the HR team with general administrative tasks related to employee well-being.
- Contribute creative ideas for new wellness initiatives and program enhancements.
Required Skills

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Health Sciences, Human Resources, Psychology, Kinesiology, Nutrition, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of corporate wellness concepts or health promotion principles.
- Previous volunteer experience in health-related programs or events.
