Job Description
Join Rentokil Initial as a Trainee Pest Control Technician and embark on a rewarding career with a global leader. Key Responsibilities
- Complete a structured, fully paid training program to achieve industry-recognized qualifications in pest management.
- Learn to identify various pests, understand their biology, and implement effective control strategies.
- Conduct thorough inspections of customer properties (residential and commercial) to assess pest activity and potential entry points.
- Apply a range of pest control treatments and solutions safely and effectively, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers on pest prevention and proofing measures.
- Maintain accurate service records, complete necessary documentation, and manage your daily route efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
- Operate and maintain company vehicle and equipment according to company standards.
Required Skills
- Full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- A keen interest in learning and developing new technical skills.
- Basic computer literacy for record keeping.
- Commitment to health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work outdoors and in various environments (e.g., attics, crawl spaces).
