Job Description
We are seeking reliable and hardworking Refuse Loaders / Bin Collectors to join our team in Blyth. This is a full-time, on-site position with early morning starts and the benefit of weekly pay. As a Refuse Loader, you will be an integral part of our essential waste collection services, working outdoors in all weather conditions to ensure the efficient and safe collection of refuse from residential and commercial properties. Full training will be provided, so no prior experience is necessary, just a strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team to collect household and commercial waste and recycling from designated routes.
- Maneuver and load bins onto the refuse collection vehicle safely and efficiently.
- Operate compaction equipment responsibly, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Assist the driver with safe maneuvering of the vehicle, acting as a banksman when required.
- Ensure all waste is collected and the area is left clean and tidy.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
- Report any issues, hazards, or concerns to the team leader promptly.
- Represent Veolia UK professionally while interacting with the public.

- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, pulling, and walking for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
