Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Remote E-learning Developer to join our dynamic team. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Australia. As an E-learning Developer, you will be instrumental in creating compelling digital lessons, interactive modules, and comprehensive online courses. You will collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and multimedia specialists to transform raw content into engaging and effective learning experiences using various authoring tools and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop interactive e-learning modules, courses, and digital lessons using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, or Adobe Captivate.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to gather content, define learning objectives, and ensure instructional effectiveness.
- Implement various media elements including graphics, audio, video, and animations to enhance learning experiences.
- Ensure e-learning content is accessible, compliant with SCORM/xAPI standards, and compatible across various learning management systems (LMS) and devices.
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of e-learning modules to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Stay updated with emerging e-learning technologies, tools, and best practices to continually improve our offerings.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for e-learning content as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate)
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories
- Experience with multimedia editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Premiere Pro)
- Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and other e-learning standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Multimedia Design, or a related field
- Experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript for custom e-learning development
- Portfolio showcasing previous e-learning projects and interactive modules
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration
