Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Remote Instagram Engagement Specialist to join our dynamic social media team. This is a 100% remote position. In this role, you will be the direct voice of ASOS on Instagram, responsible for engaging with our community, replying to comments, and managing direct messages. You will play a crucial role in fostering positive relationships with our followers, enhancing brand loyalty, and ensuring a consistent brand experience across our most visual platform. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor ASOS's official Instagram accounts for new comments and direct messages.
  • Respond promptly, thoughtfully, and professionally to all Instagram comments and DMs, maintaining ASOS's distinct brand voice and tone.
  • Identify and escalate complex customer service inquiries or urgent issues to the relevant internal teams.
  • Proactively engage with followers through likes, comments, and story reactions to foster a vibrant and interactive community.
  • Track engagement metrics and provide regular feedback and insights on community sentiment and trending topics to the social media and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with content creators and social media managers to align on campaigns and messaging.
  • Stay up-to-date with Instagram's features, trends, and best practices to continually optimize engagement strategies.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written communication and interpersonal skills in English.
  • Strong understanding of the Instagram platform, its features, and community guidelines.
  • Proven ability to maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across diverse interactions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote work environment.
  • A genuine passion for fashion and a keen eye for current trends.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in social media management, community management, or online customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with the e-commerce or fashion retail industry.
  • Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Sprinklr).
  • Understanding of social media analytics and reporting.
