Job Description
Are you looking to kick-start a career in a hands-on, high-demand industry? Apex Industrial Solutions is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals for a Rigger’s Offsider role in Penrith. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training from day one. You’ll work closely with experienced riggers, learning the ropes (literally!) of safely moving, lifting, and positioning heavy equipment and materials on various industrial and construction sites. This role offers a high work premium for your dedication and commitment, along with excellent opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified riggers with the safe setup and dismantling of rigging equipment.
- Learn and adhere to all site safety procedures and protocols.
- Prepare, inspect, and maintain rigging gear, including slings, chains, and hooks, under supervision.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with crane operators, dogmen, and other team members.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free work area at all times.
- Perform general labouring duties as required to efficiently support rigging operations.
- Actively participate in all provided on-the-job training and commit to continuous skill development.

- Exceptional attendance and punctuality are essential.
- The ability to follow instructions diligently and work effectively as part of a cohesive team.
- Good physical fitness and the capability to perform manual labour in various outdoor weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications
- A valid White Card (Construction Induction Card) is beneficial, though assistance can be provided to obtain this upon hire.
- Any basic understanding of industrial or construction environments is a plus, but comprehensive training will be provided.
