Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and community-minded individuals to join our team as a Part-Time School Crossing Supervisor. In this vital community role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safety of children walking or cycling to and from school. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to contribute positively to their local community, with no prior experience required as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely supervise school crossings during designated peak school hours.
  • Assist children and other pedestrians in crossing roads safely.
  • Educate children and motorists on road safety practices.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to the relevant authorities.
  • Maintain a visible and professional presence at all times.
  • Adhere to all council policies and procedures regarding traffic management and child safety.
