Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Seed Packaging Staff to join our team in Townsville. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking for stable, clean indoor work with a reputable company. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success. You will be responsible for accurately measuring, packaging, and labeling various types of seeds in a clean, climate-controlled environment. This role involves light physical duties and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and weigh seed quantities according to specific production orders
- Operate basic packaging machinery safely and efficiently after receiving full training
- Seal and label seed packages correctly and neatly, ensuring all information is legible
- Perform quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet company standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company policies
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed to support warehouse operations
Required Skills
- Ability to read and accurately follow written instructions
- Good attention to detail and precision in tasks
- Reliability and punctuality for all shifts
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment
- Basic numeracy skills for measuring and counting
- No prior experience required – full training will be provided
