Job Description
Are you ready to embrace the winter weather and help create memorable experiences for our guests? Six Flags Entertainment Corporation is seeking enthusiastic and safety-conscious Snow Tube Hill Attendants for the upcoming winter season. This is an entry-level, outdoor position perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and interacting with the public. Full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of this role. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our snow tubing hill, assisting guests, and maintaining a fun atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and monitor snow tube conveyors or lifts, ensuring proper guest boarding and disembarking procedures.
- Enforce all safety rules and regulations on the snow tube hill, providing clear instructions to guests.
- Assist guests with tubes, helping them on and off the conveyor and guiding them to appropriate lanes.
- Inspect the tubing lanes and surrounding areas regularly for hazards, reporting any issues to supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snow tube hill area, including tubes and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering guest questions and resolving minor issues with a positive attitude.
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or incidents, administering basic first aid if necessary (training provided).
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying winter weather conditions (cold, snow, ice) for extended periods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for seasonal operations.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds regularly.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or outdoor recreation role is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of winter sports or outdoor equipment.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
