Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to kickstart your career in agriculture? The Whyalla Agricultural Co-op is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team as Seasonal Crop Maintenance Hands. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive training! This is a fantastic chance to work outdoors, learn valuable skills in crop care, and contribute to the vital agricultural sector in Whyalla. This seasonal role is perfect for those seeking temporary employment, gap year opportunities, or a pathway into farming. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with planting, weeding, and general crop care tasks.
- Operating basic farm equipment under supervision (training provided).
- Monitoring crop health and reporting any issues to supervisors.
- Participating in harvesting activities as required.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and agricultural best practices.

Required Skills
