Job Description

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Social Media Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Carnarvon. This role is crucial for managing and enhancing the online presence of our diverse client portfolio. You will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies, creating engaging content, fostering online communities, and analyzing performance to drive client success. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies for various clients across different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) ensuring brand consistency and engagement.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a 'social' way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Analyze social media campaign performance, report on key metrics, and derive actionable insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, copywriters, and account managers to ensure content aligns with overall marketing goals.
  • Manage and maintain client social media calendars and scheduling tools.
  • Identify and engage with relevant influencers and community groups to expand client reach.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in social media management or a similar role (2+ years preferred).
  • Excellent knowledge of major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite basics).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising campaigns.
  • Familiarity with the regional Western Australian market and local businesses.
