Job Description
As a Spa & Sauna Technician – Specialist Service, you will be instrumental in maintaining the pristine condition and operational excellence of our spa, sauna, steam rooms, and related wellness facilities. This role ensures a safe, clean, and luxurious environment for our guests, reflecting The Nines’ high standards of hospitality. You will be responsible for routine maintenance, cleanliness protocols, minor repairs, and ensuring all equipment functions optimally.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of saunas, steam rooms, changing areas, and spa treatment rooms.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate temperature and humidity levels in saunas and steam rooms.
- Conduct routine inspections of all spa equipment and facilities, identifying and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Execute minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks on spa equipment as needed.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and spa amenities, reordering as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding spa facilities and maintain a professional, helpful demeanor.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and supply usage.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and general maintenance.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to perform duties that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and following safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or spa environment.
- Certification in facilities maintenance or a related technical field.
- Familiarity with water treatment or chemical balancing.
