Job Description

Join GHD as a Summer Intern and embark on a rewarding journey within our dynamic environmental science team in Redcliffe. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior environmental scientists with data collection and analysis.
  • Support fieldwork activities, including site inspections and environmental monitoring.
  • Conduct research on environmental regulations, best practices, and innovative technologies.
  • Prepare sections of reports, presentations, and technical documentation.
  • Contribute to project planning and execution under supervision.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Strong academic record and a genuine interest in environmental issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Some prior exposure to environmental fieldwork or lab work (e.g., through university projects or volunteer work).
  • Familiarity with GIS software or environmental modelling tools.
  • Valid driver's license (optional, but beneficial for fieldwork).
