Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Telesales Advisor to join our dynamic sales team in Basingstoke. In this role, you will be responsible for proactively engaging with potential and existing customers over the phone, understanding their needs, and effectively promoting our range of telecommunications products and services. You will be a key contributor to our sales targets, building strong customer relationships and ensuring a positive brand experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing customers to promote BT products and services.
- Identify customer needs and offer tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of all products, services, and pricing plans.
- Accurately record customer information and sales data in our CRM system.
- Handle customer objections professionally and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and sales compliance guidelines.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Proven ability to persuade and influence customers.
- Strong negotiation and objection-handling techniques.
- Resilience and a positive attitude towards achieving targets.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate CRM systems.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a telesales, sales, or customer service role.
- Familiarity with telecommunications products and services.
- Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including English and Maths.
