Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around work zones.
- Set up and pack down traffic management signs and devices according to approved plans.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, contractors, and the public.
- Adhere strictly to all WHS policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Monitor traffic flow and adjust controls as necessary to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Conduct pre-start checks on equipment and report any faults.
- Represent Altus Traffic professionally on all work sites.
Required Skills
- Valid Australian Driver's License (essential)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of reliability and punctuality
- Commitment to safety and following procedures
- Physical fitness to stand for long periods and lift equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Construction Induction Card (White Card) – if not held, assistance may be provided to obtain
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Previous experience in a physically demanding role
