Key Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately process incoming Triple Zero (000) emergency calls with empathy and professionalism.
• Gather critical information quickly and efficiently from callers in distress.
• Determine the nature and location of the emergency to dispatch appropriate resources (police, fire, ambulance).
• Provide pre-arrival instructions to callers, including first aid or safety advice, as needed.
• Maintain calm and composure during high-stress situations.
• Accurately log all call details and actions in dispatch systems.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate with emergency services personnel and other dispatchers.
• Adhere to all operational protocols, policies, and procedures.
