Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and physically fit individuals to join our team as Industrial Degreasers. This is a hands-on, heavy-duty role that requires commitment and a strong work ethic. You will be responsible for ensuring industrial machinery, equipment, and production areas are thoroughly cleaned and degreased to the highest standards. Full training will be provided to successful candidates, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to enter a rewarding industrial role with high earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform heavy-duty cleaning and degreasing of industrial machinery, equipment, and surfaces.
- Utilize industrial-grade cleaning agents and equipment safely and effectively.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and company policies.
- Inspect cleaned areas to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing/bending.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to strict protocols.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques and equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in an industrial cleaning or heavy manual labour role is a plus, but not essential.
- Valid Australian Driver's License.
- Current White Card (Construction Induction Card) is highly regarded.
