Job Description
We are seeking an exceptionally talented and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our innovative team in Wrexham. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end UX design processes from research to implementation, ensuring user-centered design principles are applied consistently.
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to identify user needs, pain points, and opportunities.
- Create detailed wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for various digital platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into compelling user experiences.
- Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across products.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, articulating design decisions effectively.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UI/UX design.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and your design process.
- Expert proficiency with industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Demonstrable experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience in creating and working with design systems.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Experience working in a consultancy or large enterprise environment.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design practices.
- Knowledge of front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to better understand technical constraints.
