Job Description
Are you a proactive and enthusiastic individual eager to explore the cutting edge of automotive communication? Jaguar Land Rover is offering an exciting internship opportunity within our V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) Communication team. This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the development and testing of advanced communication systems that connect vehicles to their environment, infrastructure, and other vehicles. You will support our engineers in researching, developing, and implementing V2X technologies, contributing to the future of intelligent mobility and autonomous driving solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research and analysis of current and emerging V2X communication technologies and standards.
- Support the V2X engineering team with data collection, analysis, and basic testing procedures.
- Contribute to the documentation of V2X system requirements, design specifications, and test results.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams on V2X related projects.
- Help maintain and troubleshoot V2X lab equipment and simulation environments.
- Prepare presentations and reports on V2X concepts and project progress.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of communication protocols and networking concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with automotive communication systems (e.g., CAN, Ethernet) or wireless communication technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi, 5G, DSRC).
- Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Previous project experience related to embedded systems, IoT, or telematics.
