Job Description
Join the Woolworths Group team as a Warehouse Packer for our afternoon shift in Wetherill Park. This is a crucial casual loading role, ensuring products are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch. We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals who are ready to learn and contribute to a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for those looking to gain valuable warehouse experience. Your attention to detail will ensure our customers receive their orders correctly and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications.
- Ensure items are correctly scanned, labeled, and prepared for shipment.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks, once trained) as required.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality for afternoon shifts.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good attention to detail for accurate packing.
- Physical capability to lift and move packages up to 15kg repeatedly.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels and count items.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar physical role is a plus, but not essential.
- Forklift license (LF) is advantageous but not required for this specific role.
